Our inaugural event took place from September 19-21 in Chicago, Illinois, at the Marriott Marquis. This event was made possible by our sponsors: Gilead Sciences, Ipsen, GSK, Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Rare Patient Voice, the American Liver Foundation, and the PBC Foundation. Your generous support enabled us to raise awareness and provide resources to the PBC community. 

Patient attendees and their families joined us from 17 different states to learn from and engage with some of the most esteemed PBC specialists in the nation. Patients had the opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns during workshops and panel sessions, fostering networking and community building. 

We are grateful to our experts who presented: Dr. Allen Bonder, Dr. Gautham Reddy, Dr. Sujan Ravi, Dr. Christopher Moore, Allison Moser, and Dr. Aiman Ghufran. A special thank you goes to our speakers and moderators, including the CEO of the PBC Foundation, Robert Mitchell-Thain, and representatives from Gilead—Jeff Eggert and Matthew Aguirre.
