L. Marie Asad

L. Marie  Asad, serves as a Manager of Community Engagement for the state’s largest provider of health benefits serving 8 million Illinois residents, where she is responsible for leading a team  promoting health equity in services, programs and partnerships across the state.
 
Education: L. Marie holds a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology from Concordia University Chicago, a Leadership Certificate in Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Art from Illinois State University. In addition, she successfully completed the University of Maryland’s School of Pharmacy’s PATIENTS Professors Academy to promote health equity in research and eliminate inequities.
 
L. Marie spends her time, treasure and thought leadership volunteering with the following organizations:

PBC Foundation 
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Joliet Area/South Suburban Alumnae Chapter
