Jackeline was born on the island of Puerto Rico and then at the age of 9 years old moved to The Bronx, New York, with her family in pursuit of a better life.  Jackeline understood, as she grew up, that she wanted to help others and be an advocate for them within the legal field. Jackeline started her journey and worked as a paralegal for 22 years in various types of law to help clients in their times of need. Outside of work, Jackeline also provides her assistance at church, where she attends as a Sunday school teacher and is involved in other ministries within the church. In 2021, Jackeline was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) which was a genuine shock for her and her family. The first couple of months were difficult, but with the love and compassion of family, friends, and church family, Jackeline was able to achieve a new purpose in her journey. Jackeline has had the opportunity to become a patient advocate and has been able to share her journey with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) in different spaces.
